Ken Todd has produced a wonderful CD in Celebration of Hoagy Carmichael’s 100th birthday in the year 2000. “Hoagy Carmichael: A Jazz Update” is a collection of Hoagy’s great tunes, some played with a decidedly modern approach including funk and latin rhythms. Ken Todd & All That Jazz includes Ken on tenor sax and flute, the great Harold Danko on piano, Arti Dixson on drums and myslef on bass.
